 Howard graduated Cum Laude from the University of Akron in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He became a certified public accountant in 1976 and went on to receive a Masters of Science in Accounting from the University of Akron in 1984. His previous experience included five years with the small business division of the largest multi-national CPA firm headquartered in Chicago before going on to starting his own firm right here in Ohio. His firm, Howard A. Jesko & Co, was founded in 1984. Howard is a member of the American Institute and Ohio Society of CPA’s since 1976, and has been licensed in the Virgin Islands of the United States since 2003.

Besides being a CPA, Howard is an avid scuba diver. He has previously dived at many locations throughout the world, including the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Presently, he enjoys diving in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where he can combine business and recreation. His love of the sea extends to supporting programs for the preservation of the coral reefs and sea life, especially the sea turtle. He has several aquariums at home and one at the office. 

His door is always open and his smile is just as inviting.

Nina graduated from Elyria West High School in 1992 and went on to study financing at LCCC, graduating in 95. After this, she went on to become a certified medical assistant through Lorain County JVS. She started at H&R Block in 1999 as a basic tax preparer, eventually working her way up to becoming a full on tax advisor.  She's helped in various federal, state, and city letters and audits. Currently working as an account specialist for Sprenger Healthcare. 

Nina also has facilitated the teaching of both beginning and advanced tax courses at H&R Block for 9 years, passing over her personal experience and expertise to the next generation of tax workers. 

If she wasn't busy enough, she's been an officer manager for 11 years and a marketing coordinator for 6. Going on her 4th year here at Howard A. Jesko & Co, she hopes to have many more.

Always a social butterfly, she enjoys event coordination, socializing, and moonlighting as a DJ. Nina adds the personal touch that every accountant should have. 

She always goes out of her way to help her clients. She's friendly and makes everyone feel warm and welcome.
